Geometric Parameters

Geometric parameters are used to derive:

1. Entry capacity
2. Bypass capacity
3. Accident frequency and rate

Some geometric parameters are used in only one group while some are used in more than one group. Parameters in more than one group are displayed in each and changes made in one group are mirrored in other groups.

Geometric data for entry capacity is stored under six headings:

1. Approach Geometry
2. Entry Geometry
3. Circulating Geometry
4. Exit Geometry
5. Capacity Modifiers
6. Entry Capacity Calibration

The first five are displayed in grids on the main screen. The Calibration grid is called by the Calibration button.
